The Seoul Foundation for Arts and Culture signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the KAIST Art & Technology Center (KATEC) at its Daehangno Center to develop and operate projects that integrate art with AI technology. Under the agreement, the two institutions will collaborate on joint research into new methodologies for civic arts participation in the AI era, share infrastructure and networks, and plan and operate future-oriented art-technology convergence projects. This year, they will co-run the "KAIST Creative AI Master Class" for artists and arts educators — a program designed not merely to teach tool usage, but to help participants sustain and expand artistic thinking within AI-driven environments. A public forum exploring ways to foster citizen creativity in the AI age is also planned for next month. Building on this agreement, the Seoul Foundation for Arts and Culture plans to deepen collaboration with universities and research institutions to broaden public participation in culture and expand creative opportunities for artists.
