교토대학교 KAMITANI LAB 방문 [2026/03/06]
2026년 3월 6일 카이스트 아트앤테크센터 연구진은 한국리서치의 지원을 받아 교토대학교의 KAMITANI LAB에 방문했다. 이번 방문의 목적은 fMRI를 이용한 이미지 디코딩 연구에서 세계적인 수준을 이끌고 있는 Yukiyasu Kamitani 교수와 만나 서로의 연구를 공유하고, 뇌과학에 관한 통찰을 나누기 위함이었다. 현장에서 카이스트 아트앤테크센터와 KAMITANI LAB의 소개가 순서대로 이어졌고, 현재 뇌과학 연구의 최전선과 이미지 디코딩 연구의 방향성 등에 관하여 토론이 이어졌다.
On March 6, 2026, researchers from the KAIST Art & Technology Center visited Kyoto University’s Kamitani Lab with support from Korea Research. The purpose of the visit was to meet Professor Yukiyasu Kamitani, a world-leading scholar in fMRI-based image decoding research, to share each institution’s research and exchange insights on brain science. At the site, introductions to the KAIST Art & Technology Center and Kamitani Lab were given in turn, followed by a discussion on the forefront of current brain science research and the future direction of image decoding research.
