Creative AI Forum [2025/04/17]
2025년 4월 17일, KAIST 아트앤테크놀로지센터에서는 ‘포스트 휴먼시대의 Creative AI’를 주제로 KAIST AI+ART Series: Creative AI Forum을 개최했다. 해당 포럼은 KAIST 아트앤테크놀로지센터 이진준 센터장의 주최 아래 정미녕 KAIST 아트앤테크놀로지센터 선임연구원이 모더레이터를 맡아 진행되었다. University of Helsinki의 Jason Waite 박사는 ‘How do we work together?’라는 제목을 필두로, 예술적 실천과 과학적 리서치 사이에서 예술가와 과학자가 어떻게 협업할 수 있을지에 대해 논의하였다. 다음으로 Oxford Ruskin School of Art를 졸업하고 Havard ArtLab의 college fellow로 활동하였던 황소인 박사가 ‘Project CyberCyn and the Vitality’를 주제로 20-21세기 사이버네틱스에서의 예술적/정치적 실천에 관해 강연하였다.
On April 17, 2025, the KAIST Art & Technology Center hosted the KAIST AI+ART Series: Creative AI Forum under the theme “Creative AI in the Post-Human Era.” The forum was organized by Jinjoon Lee, Director of the KAIST Art & Technology Center, and moderated by Minyoung Jung, Senior Researcher at the same center. Dr. Jason Waite from the University of Helsinki opened the discussion with a lecture titled “How do we work together?” addressing how artists and scientists can collaborate between artistic practice and scientific research. Following this, Dr. Soin Hwang, a graduate of Oxford Ruskin School of Art and former College Fellow at the Harvard ArtLab, delivered a talk titled “Project CyberCyn and the Vitality,” exploring artistic and political practices in cybernetics between the 20th and 21st centuries.
